In a step towards normalcy the beaches of the South Bay are open for limited activities. While you can’t sit or lie on the beach you can use the beach for activities. Running, walking, etc. are all possible and the best news is that the water is now open for activities as well! This includes Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance Beach and Dockweiler Beach (El Segundo)
Just a note….the picture below is from 4th of July…..not what it currently looks like. Please be responsible so our beaches remain open!

In addition to being a great workout for you, it’s a great place to bring the kids. There is a great little playground for the kids with swings and slides, and the city has designated the left side of the hill to be an area for kids to run and play.
Cities have an abundance of things to do including Hermosa Beach summer concerts, concerts on the pier in Redondo Beach and Concerts at the Park in Manhattan Beach’s Polliwog Park.
