Just Sold – Off Market Condo in The Village Redondo Beach

Our most recent condo sale in Redondo Beach was a beautiful ocean view 1 bedroom condo in The Village located at 640 TheVillage condos Redondo Village #104, Redondo Beach CA 90277.

The condo was scheduled to hit the market in mid January after doing some updating and upgrading,  but the sellers asked that we try to find a buyer prior to doing any renovation.  We found an agent/buyer and the condo sold off market and actually closed and recorded on January 18th.

Although the condo was a first floor unit it had some pretty nice ocean views as the 630 and 640 buildings have two levels of parking so they’re almost a full story higher than the other buildings.

Beachfront Home Hits the Market – 3410 The Strand, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254

The latest South Bay oceanfront home to grace the market happens to be in the northern end of the Hermosa Beach sand section.  The home is only a block from Manhattan Beach in the section of the Strand in which lots are much smaller than in other areas.  The home itself has a nice beachy feel to it and, needless to say, the views are tough to beach.  The north end of Hermosa is always highly sought after but we think that the price is on the higher end for a lot that’s only 1,658 square feet.  Having said that they maximized square footage and the home has almost 2,300 square feet on three levels.

The newest beachfront property for sale in Manhattan Beach is a top floor condo in a 2 unit building in El Porto.  4406 The Strand features 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths in a specious 2,100+ square feet.  This Manhattan Beach sand section home offers some huge and unblockable ocean views.

4406 The Strand is one of the furthest north properties in the El Porto neighborhood so it sits behind the beach parking which can get pretty busy.  This part of The Strand is always the least expensive but beachfront  is beachfront and who can complain about the views.

The home is nice but somewhat dated condition.

517 Paseo De La Playa – Oceanfront Home Sells for $7,050,000

One of the more notable sales we wanted to mention was an oceanfront single family that just recently sold in the Hollywood Riviera.
Without question, the homes on the west side of Paseo De La Playa are unlike anything in all of the South Bay and Southern California.  The homes ofpaseo de la playafer unblockable panoramic views from Catalina to Malibu and unlike some other beachfront homes they have incredible coastline views meaning evening and night views are spectacular as well.   The oceanfront lots are huge…..extending all the way to the beach.  The homes have privacy that’s impossible along the Esplanade or the Strand in Hermosa and Manhattan and its not nearly as far out as some of the oceanfront homes in Palos Verdes.

Listed by Christina Schlank of Vista Sotheby’s 517 Paseo De La Playa was one of the best homes on the best street.  Incredible indoor and outdoor spaces in a luxurious but casual beach home.  Views were endless.

This home was built in 1962 but underwent an almost total remodel in 2010 and still looks and feels lke a new home.

The home last sold for $5,920,000 in 2017. The previous owner had been Larry Miller of Sit and Sleep and “your mattress is freeeeee!” fame.
