Take a look at how home prices in the Beach Cities of the South Bay compare to one another and how they compare to December in the prior years. Hermosa Beach was the only one of the cities that has not gone up each year with a slight dip in 2019.
As we are short sale specialists from the abundance of short sales we were involved in when the market went south years ago, we’re often contacted by home buyers looking for a “deal”……meaning a distressed home sale including bank owned homes (REOs) and short sales. Here’s a chart that shows why currently that’s just about impossible. Keep in mind that this is all combined short sales and REOs for all the listed cities in the South Bay.
If you’ve been searching for a home in the South Bay but were hoping there is an easier way…..there is!

While it would be nice if the weather cooperated we still wanted to welcome summer to the South Bay, Beach Cities and Palos Verdes! Enjoy and stay safe!
From realtor Keith Kyle and Vista Sotheby’s International Realty we wanted to wish you a very happy summer.
In a step towards normalcy the beaches of the South Bay are open for limited activities. While you can’t sit or lie on the beach you can use the beach for activities. Running, walking, etc. are all possible and the best news is that the water is now open for activities as well! This includes Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance Beach and Dockweiler Beach (El Segundo)
Just a note….the picture below is from 4th of July…..not what it currently looks like. Please be responsible so our beaches remain open!
