Take a look at the number for some South Bay and Southern California cities and neighborhoods last month. It was another good month for median home prices throughout the area. The top chart shows the coastal cities and the second chart shows some of the inland cities in our area. The top coastal city was Venice with a median price of $2,610,000 which edged out Manhattan Beach at $2,553,000 and Palos Verdes Estates at $2,440,000.
For the inland cities there was really no competition with the median price in Rolling Hills at $7,400,000. Having said that it’s pretty misleading as there was only one home sold in Rolling Hills in July. At a distant second was Westchester at a median sales price of $1,325,000.
