In a step towards normalcy the beaches of the South Bay are open for limited activities. While you can’t sit or lie on the beach you can use the beach for activities. Running, walking, etc. are all possible and the best news is that the water is now open for activities as well! This includes Manhattan Beach, Hermosa Beach, Redondo Beach, Torrance Beach and Dockweiler Beach (El Segundo)

Lane” area of South Torrance. Known as Seaside Ranchos in South Torrance the rest of the year, this neighborhood really shines (quite literally) during the holidays. Cars line up and pedestrians take to the streets to enjoy this incredible display of holiday lights and Christmas decorations. It really is something to behold and it’s worth waiting in the line of cars. Even better is doing it by foot but obviously that’s weather dependent.
