Just Sold – Off Market Condo in The Village Redondo Beach

Our most recent condo sale in Redondo Beach was a beautiful ocean view 1 bedroom condo in The Village located at 640 TheVillage condos Redondo Village #104, Redondo Beach CA 90277.

The condo was scheduled to hit the market in mid January after doing some updating and upgrading,  but the sellers asked that we try to find a buyer prior to doing any renovation.  We found an agent/buyer and the condo sold off market and actually closed and recorded on January 18th.

Although the condo was a first floor unit it had some pretty nice ocean views as the 630 and 640 buildings have two levels of parking so they’re almost a full story higher than the other buildings.

One of the notable sales in December was a very rare sale of a condo/hotel room unit at the highly sought after Beach House Hermosa.  Unit #301 actually faces east so it doesn’t have any sort of beach views but the price is still very appealing given that beach front units are in the $1.2M range.  The Beach House is a VERY unique ownership opportunity as it’s not a timeshare but full ownership of a specific unit.  Owners can use the condo up to 90 days a year with the rest being required to make available for rent.  This was the agreement made with the California Coastal Commission when built to ensure “access” to the beach for non-owners.

Beachfront Condo 634 The Strand Hermosa Beach Sells for $3.95M

Homes of note…..one of the homes that sold in Hermosa Beach CA during October was a very rare 3 bedroom beachfont condo located at 634 The Strand.

This 3 bedroom condo had been on the month for quite some time (almost a year) which isn’t a rarity for beachfront properties in Hermosa or on the Manhattan Beach Strand.  Homes just tend to sit for a while as prices are possible for most buyers.  The home was originally listed for $4,900,000 back in December of 2021 so needless to say the sellers most definitely took a hit on the original price.

The neighboring unit #638 sold off-market in April 2021 for $4,991,500 so $3,950,00 for this condo was a great deal.

The newest beachfront property for sale in Manhattan Beach is a top floor condo in a 2 unit building in El Porto.  4406 The Strand features 2 bedrooms and 2 1/2 baths in a specious 2,100+ square feet.  This Manhattan Beach sand section home offers some huge and unblockable ocean views.

4406 The Strand is one of the furthest north properties in the El Porto neighborhood so it sits behind the beach parking which can get pretty busy.  This part of The Strand is always the least expensive but beachfront  is beachfront and who can complain about the views.
