One of our favorite “secret” areas is El Camino Village. El Camino Village homes have a Lawndale or Gardena address but are small pockets of unicorporated areas. While not really a secret any longer we still feel that it’s a great value as it feels like Torrance at a lower price point. The neighborhood consists mostly of single family homes giving it a nice community feel. Explore real estate and homes in El Camino Village and Bodger Park to better understand the neighborhood.

even street by street. One of the areas we really like for the value is called El Camino Village. While it’s not an official city (in fact is comprised of 2 different cities) it’s a pocket with sections in both Lawndale and Gardena with a lot to offer. This area has the look and feel of a nearby North Torrance neighborhood with much more affordable prices. It has a great look with tree lined streets, great curb appeal, clear pride of ownership and a friendly and safe feel. Adjacent Bodger Park in Hawthorne also has a similar feel.
