For those 1990’s TV aficionados out there the beach house from Beverly Hills 90210 is, unfortunately, no longer on the market.. The property is actually a triplex
with two 2 bed/2 bath units and a 2 bed/1 bath penthouse unit. The location is pretty amazing being the last house on the Strand in Hermosa Beach. As the Manhattan Beach Strand and Hermosa Strand don’t line up evenly 3500 The Strand actually offers a corner lot location with unblocked and unblockable views in 2 directions. The only downside to the location is that it’s a very busy pedestrian corner and there’s rarely not a crowd out front.

frontage on the beach and bike path. The home had been on the market over the spring and summer at the same price but pulled of in July. It seems that the market for beachfront homes has picked up steam from then and we’ll have to see what the interest level on this home is. Given the age and layout it will likely sell to a builder for either a major renovation or more likely, torn down and new construction. The location is pretty ideal being in this north
amazing on
located at 2508 The Strand. This 3 level home designed by Giorgio Dazzan and built by Baldwin Construction offers a great location with stunning and unblockable beach and ocean views. The home offers 4 bedrooms, 6 baths and over 4,500 square feet on a 3500+ square foot lot. The home enjoys approximately 33 feet of beach frontage.
than the others. 8 The Strand is at the very beginning of The Strand in Hermosa the location and lot size makes for a very different price point than other beachfront homes. Listed at $5, 149,000 the home is in pretty original condition and offers 2 bedrooms, 2 baths and over 2,000+ square feet on a 2,545 foot lot with approximately 30 feet of beach frontage. Normally this would be a lot sale to a builder but the new construction Strand market has been pretty slow so we’ll have to wait and see if a builder scoops this up. One of the challenges with location (if you can say a beachfront home has location challenges) is that this is the 2nd home from the end of the Strand putting it pretty close to some less desirable spots (beach parking lot, AES power plant, etc) but the views and steps to the sand are hard not to love.
