Who says everyone wants new construction these days?…….
Built in 1909 824 Emerald St was a beautifully kept and updated Queen Anne Victorian straight out of the black and white photos of original Redondo. The house has incredible charm with woodwork and features that keep this home feeling like it was when originally built. That’s not to say it doesn’t have some modern luxuries such as a/c. The home is located on a great corner lot with a charming front lawn and just blocks to the beach. As expected this home didn’t last long and as of 5/17 it’s gone into escrow.

The top home sale of April in Redondo Beach was a massive single family ocean view home located at 803 N
Paulina in south Redondo 90277. This luxury property featured 6,066 square feet with 5 bedrooms and 7 total baths. The location allowed for some nice ocean views from both the 3 level home itself as well as from the resort style pool deck.
The home was listed at $3,995,000 and sold for a jaw dropping $4,625,000. $630,000 over the asking price!

One of the newer listings to hit the market recently in the sand section of Hermosa Beach is a spacious home on a highly desirable lot. We’ve been
watching the slow remodel of this home for years now and it’s finally ready for the market. The home is pretty ideally located just a block to the beach and a very short distance from both the Hermosa Pier plaza area and downtown Manhattan Beach. While there is a rooftop deck with panoramic views the views from inside the home are surprisingly limited given the location.
The home has been nicely remodeled and updated and has a lot to offer the discerning buyer. While it’s somewhat hard to envision the home was pretty much completely reimagined from it’s original Spanish style exterior and fairly dark and formal interior spaces. The owners have done a very nice job in giving it a fresh, bright and open interior. The home last sold in 2013 for $3,125,000.

The newest listing in Torrance is a pretty special estate style home in one of the most impressive neighborhoods in all of Torrance. 23011 Doris Way is a beautiful Santa Barbara style estate designed by Doug Leach in Seaside Ranchos also known as the Christmas light area of south Torrance. The home offers a spacious 4,000+ square feet but given the large
8,565 sq foot lot, the home offers still has great outdoor areas and wonderful curb appeal.
