There is a new listing in the gated community of Fusion South Bay and it’s a nicely updated and upgraded 3 bedroom home with all of the living spaces on a single level.
5403 W 149th Place #6 in the gated community of Fusion South Bay just hit the market and is listed by Richard Eldred of Coldwell Banker Residential. The “J” floorplan offers the largest square footage of all the Fusion layouts and at $1,155,000 is looking to set a new sales price record. The list price is clearly based off of the sale of 5404 W 149th Place Unit#7 which was listed at $1,099,000 and closed at $1,155,000 back in June.
As mentioned above, the home is a very nicely upgraded “J layout”(click to see floorplan) which offers all of the living spaces on one level. The one tradeoff is that there are lots of steps from the garage as the J units sit above the 3 bedroom “G” layout units. One of the strenghts of the J floorplan is that it offers a pretty open layout with nice sized living and dining rooms open to the spacious kitchen complete with an oversized island. This home offers some nice upgrades including updated hickory hardwood floors, granite counters in the kitchen, fresh paint, stainless appliances and remodeled bathroom. The listing mentions a half bath on the “lower” level but we’re not sure what they are referring to as we’ve never seen that in any other J unit. Some of the highlights of this layout are the open floorplan, living spaces and bedrooms on the same level, larger balcony than normal and huge windows in the living and dining areas.
As with all of the condos and townhomes in Fusion, the location is great as it’s located in the highly sought after Hollyglen neighborhood and serviced by the award winning Wiseburn School District.

Congratulations to our wonderful buyers as we just recently sold and closed escrow on an oceanview room in the Beach House Hotel in
Hermosa Beach located at 1300 The Strand.
The units in the Beach House are all individually owned as hotel/condo properties but there are restrictions on owner use. The property is fee simple and specific units are wholly owned so it’s definitely not a timeshare.
