September 2022 South Bay Sold Homes and Prices
Although the real estate market is definitely slowing down and we’re pretty much seeing fewer closed home sales, prices continue to impress.
September 2022 was yet another impressive month for the South Bay real estate market. Although longer days on market and price reductions are starting to happen a bit, the market is still very favorable to sellers.
Prices were solid once again although it’s now the norm to see the average price of the homes that sold at or below the asking price which is a big change from the past 18 months. There are a number of smaller gated communities throughout the South Bay and today we focus on Parkside Village in Hawthorne California. Parkside Village is one of the newer construction communities in Hawthorne and is located near the corner of 120th St and Van Ness. This gated community offers 176 freestanding homes (no shared walls) each with private yard, garage and great square footage.

Built between 2014 and 2015 this gated community consists of 176 freestanding homes. The majority of the homes are 4 bedroom (originally built as 3 bedroom plus office or 2nd living room) with some additional units being 3 bedroom (again originally built as 2 bedroom with an optional 3rd). All of the homes have some outdoor yard space off of the first floor. The community is located very close to SpaceX and So Fi Stadium in northeast Hawthorne.
