There has been a lot of activity on the beachfront home market in Redondo Beach with several Esplanade homes selling or listing.  It’s not unusual to see a one or 2 bedroom condo hit the market but the homes of late have definitely been different.

One recent sale was a 2 bedroom condo in the Casa Bahia building at 555 Esplanade and it was an impressive number to say the least.  The large 1,785 foot condo just closed at $2,150,000.  The views were impressive and the decks were incredible, but this is a BIG number that we did not envision.

What a week it’s been on the oceanfront and beachfront  home market in Redondo.  There are only a few single family homes on the Esplanade in Redondo and two of them hit the market this week.

But oh how different they are.  The other is a lot value sale at 809 Esplande and it’s a small 2 bedroom beach bunglow priced at $6,500,000.

709 Esplanade Redondo Beach709 Esplanade couldn’t be much different.  It’s one of the larger homes ever built in the Beach Cities at almost 9,000 square feet.  Ironically enough we featured this house years ago (not necessarily in a good way) when it sold in 2015.  The home was on the market for almost 3 years and was originally priced in 2012 at $10,000,000 and ended up selling for $6,350,000 in 2015.  What was so unusual about the home was that everything on the inside was pink.  Pink marble flooring, pink tile, pink sculptures…..it was odd.

The home has now been EXTENSIVELY remodeled with an entirely different look and feel.

At $6,500,000 the likelihood of the current house remaining is about 0% as this is pretty much a lot/location sale for sure.  The location simply can’t be replicated.

Just Sold – Off Market Condo in The Village Redondo Beach

Our most recent condo sale in Redondo Beach was a beautiful ocean view 1 bedroom condo in The Village located at 640The Village condos Redondo Beach The Village #104, Redondo Beach CA 90277.

The condo was scheduled to hit the market in mid January after doing some updating and upgrading,  but the sellers asked that we try to find a buyer prior to doing any renovation.  We found an agent/buyer and the condo sold off market and actually closed and recorded on January 18th.

Although the condo was a first floor unit it had some pretty nice ocean views as the 630 and 640 buildings have two levels of parking so they’re almost a full story higher than the other buildings.

We are proud to announce our most recent home sale in Redondo Beach.  We represented the buyers in this beautiful ocean view 2 bedroom condo in the Seascape 3.  The light and bright single level condo was located at 520 TheSeascape 3 condoos Village #213, Redondo Beach CA 90277.

The condo was originally priced at  $1,149,000 but we were not only able to negotiate the price to $1,089,000 but negotiated that the sellers pay the $50k+ special assessment prior to close of escrow.

#213 was an end unit so the great news is that it has extra windows making for a very bright interior.  The condo wasn’t on the westernmost side but still has a nice ocean view from the balcony and some views from the living room.
