The most recent home sale in the gated community of Manhattan Village was a rare single level plan 5 townhome located at 19 Malaga Place West.
The home was listed by Jim Van Zanten of Vista Sotheby’s International Realty.
The home was originally listed in January for $1,725,000….it then had a very early price reduction 8 days later to $1,690,000 and quickly went into escrow. The hom closed at $1,650,000.
The home was in nice condition with an updated kitchen, newer floors, new paint and more but the biggest detractor and likely reason the home didn’t sell for a higher price was the location as it backed up to Marine Ave and dealt with some traffic noise.
