As we wrap up 2020 it’s always fun to see what some of the highest priced home sales were during the year. See all of the Redondo Beach real estate market stats. Not that it’s a surprise to anyone, but the highest priced home sale in Redondo Beach in 2020 was right on the beach at 717 Esplanade. The oceanfront home
at 717 Esplanade was a staple of the beachfront real estate market and it felt like it was always on the market….and that’s because it was. Originally listed in 2013 at $14,250,000, the home had years of price reductions and realtor changes. After years of steadily reducing the asking price, it finally worked was a price of $9,975,000 back in July of 2019. It finaly went into escrow in January 2020 and closed in February. The home offered 4 bedrooms, 6 1/2 baths and an incredible 7,000+ square feet. The sales price was $9,675,000.

5,318 square foot* double lot with incredible beach frontage, the home offers an immense 6,800+ square feet* of living space. If that’s not enough room to roam, there an additional rooftop deck offering almost 1,000 square feet of privacy and tranquility.
different market. Homes often sit for years without selling due, in no small part, to being overpriced. As of 3/11 there are 7 homes now on the market on this beachfront stretch of Manhattan Beach with the newest listing located at 3004 The Strand. This is an older home that we’re excited to see as it’s unusual architecture and we’ve been wondering about this one for years. While it’s an older home it’s not priced at lot value and given the square footage this one might be a bit tough. It’s a 4 bedroom, 4 bath, with 3,348 sqft on a 3,489 sqft lot. Given that the last lot value sale was at $8.25M this one is one of those “tweener” homes (not clearly a tear down and not the modern home Strand buyers are generally wanting) so it will be one to keep a close eye on. It’s priced at $9,495,000.
