Several New Construction Units Coming to Market in Gardena

With some rezoning of prior commercial or industrial land there seems to be an abundance of new communities popping up mostnew construction townhomes and condos notably in Torrance and Gardena.

Some of these new communities are Moneta Pointe which is off of Vermont Ave just a bit north of Rosecrans. This neighborhood will offer 84 contemporary style 3-story townhomes located in a gated community offering abundant neighborhood amenities. Association perks include a gate for privacy, community pool, spa, tot lot, BBQs and picnic tables.

Another is called Walnut Place located on Rosecrans just west of Van Ness

Azelea Walk is a community of 50 homes off of Normandie north of Rosecrans.  Prices range from the mid $600ks to higher $700Ks.  The community features both 2 and 3 bedroom townhomes.

Rosecrans Place is another new community near the corner of Rosecrans and Van Ness.  This community consists of 113 free standing homes and attached townhomes.  Floorplans and layouts range from 3 bedrooms to 5 bedrooms.

Hermosa Sand Section SFR New Construction Closes at $6,135,000

The new construction home market in Hermosa Beach is alive and well that’s for sure.  One of the most recent sales of new construction in the sand section was a 4 bedroom 5 bath SFR that just closed escrow at an impressive $6,135,000.  That would certainly not been the price a year earlier but it does show just how quickly the market has moved up for new construction ocean view homes in this highly sought after neighborhood.  The home offered some nice southwest views of the ocean, Catallina and PV but not much of a view straight west.

Located in the north sand section of Hermosa it was just 2 short blocks to the beach and steps to the very popular Valley Park.  It’s also steps to the new Hermosa Vista School which is both a positive and a negative.
