340 The Strand, Manhattan Beach CA
3404 just hit the market and although it looks like a new listing it’s actually a relist…..new realtors and new price. This is a unique beachfront duplex that hit the market at $14,995,000 about 45 days ago and it’s now relisted at a new price of $14,250,000. There is an abundance of beachfront Strand listings currently available but 3404 The Strand is a bit different and certainly unique. This is a Manhattan Beach sand section duplex that isn’t the usual primary home with a small unit over the garage. 3404 The Strand offers two sizable homes and both have incredible views. The 3 level front home sits just off of the sand and offers unblockable ocean and beach views and is a bit larger than the rear home. The rear home is what really makes this property unique as it is considerably taller than the current height limits would allow but grandfathered in allowing it two levels each with magnificent ocean views.

Not Surprisingly Ultra Charming Historic Home in S Redondo Sells Quickly
Who says everyone wants new construction these days?…….
Built in 1909 824 Emerald St was a beautifully kept and updated Queen Anne Victorian straight out of the black and white photos of original Redondo. The house has incredible charm with woodwork and features that keep this home feeling like it was when originally built. That’s not to say it doesn’t have some modern luxuries such as a/c. The home is located on a great corner lot with a charming front lawn and just blocks to the beach. As expected this home didn’t last long and as of 5/17 it’s gone into escrow.

2220 Monterey Hits the Market in Hermosa Beach
One of the newer listings to hit the market recently in the sand section of Hermosa Beach is a spacious home on a highly desirable lot. We’ve been
watching the slow remodel of this home for years now and it’s finally ready for the market. The home is pretty ideally located just a block to the beach and a very short distance from both the Hermosa Pier plaza area and downtown Manhattan Beach. While there is a rooftop deck with panoramic views the views from inside the home are surprisingly limited given the location.
The home has been nicely remodeled and updated and has a lot to offer the discerning buyer. While it’s somewhat hard to envision the home was pretty much completely reimagined from it’s original Spanish style exterior and fairly dark and formal interior spaces. The owners have done a very nice job in giving it a fresh, bright and open interior. The home last sold in 2013 for $3,125,000.
