While Hermosa Beach doesn’t really seem to have “down” years, it is still1932 The Strand, Hermosa Beach, CA 90254 impressive to see what sold in this small coastal community last year and the prices that they sold for.  Here’s some very impressive stats for the Hermosa Beach real estate market in 2025.

  •  Number of on market homes that sold and closed escrow:  154
  •  Average sale price of the homes that sold:  $3,123,529
  •  Median sale price of the homes that sold:  $2,402,500
  • Average list price of the homes that sold: $3,169,386
  • Median list price of the homes that sold: $2,424,500
  • Sold price was 99% of list price: 99%
  • Average price per square foot for the homes that sold: $1,365
  • Average days on market before going into “pending” status:  50
  • Median days on market before going into “pending” status: 25

The lowest priced sale of the year was a 2 bedroom condo at the Victorian that sold for $680,000 with the highest priced sale of the year was $14,400,000 for a beachfront home at 1932 The Strand.

For comparison there were 168 Hermosa Beach homes that sold in 2024 at an average price of $2,850,580.

Slow Going for Condo Sales in Brookside Village in 2025

2025 was a very slow year for condo sales in South Redondo Beach’s Brookside Village with only 10 condos selling during the year.  Brookside Village condos in Redondo Beach For comparisons sake there were 12 sold homes in 2024, 19 in 2023, 20 in 2022, 24 in 2021 and 26 in 2020.   Here is how it broke down this past year:

The average condo price in Brookside Village in 2025 was $773,540

  • One bedroom condos – 2 sold homes in 2025 with an average price of $537,500 and median price of the same
  • Two bedroom condos – 3 sold homes in 2025 with an average price of $676,000 and median price of $668,000
