We love classic beach homes and unfortunately there are fewer of them all the time. It’s not surprising given the home values in our area, but
we do still wish more of the original and classic homes could remain intact. The home at 3033 The Strand in Hermosa Beach just recently went into escrow and although needing a lot of work, this beachfront home definitely had that original beach feel that we love. Originally listed at $19,000,000 (it’s definitely not rare to see most beachfront homes dramatically overpriced) the home was listed about a year ago and then pulled off in December. Relisted in March for $14,995,000 this 1932 built beach house offers 6 bedrooms, 5 baths, a bit over 4,000 sq feet of living space on an oversized lot of almost 4,900 square feet. The 45 feet of beach frontage is what really sets this home apart. At the moment we don’t have any confirmed information on what it sold for.
