Welcome to the good life. There are some great locations in the South Bay and Beach Cities, but the street of Paseo De La Playa in the Hollywood Riviera is tough to beat. This is one of our favorite neighborhoods in all of the South Bay and it doesn’t get much better than living oceanfront on Paseo De La Playa.
It simply doesn’t get any better than this. Paseo De La Playa is the bluff front street in the famous Hollywood Riviera. Overlooking the “Queens Necklace” coastline, dazzling daytime views turn into spectacular sunsets which lead to a coastal city light view from Palos Verdes to Malibu. In addition to the very limited number of single family homes on the street, there is an condo complex known as Cote D’Azur which sits oceanfront (although many units have only partial or no ocean views).
The homes on the west side of the street sit ocean front and have lots that extend all the way to the beach. Although it’s nearly impossible to create new access to the beach some of the homes already have trails, paths or stairs to what is almost a private beach. The truly spectacular even offer more…like surf shacks and volleyball courts. See also all of the homes for sale in the Hollywood Riviera.
Torrance with neighborhoods like west Torrance and Southwood. From award winning schools, to great beach weather, loads of parks and central to everything, this area of Torrance has it all.
generally priced well below similar homes that don’t have age restrictions. Many of the complexes were built in the past 20 years and have a very updated and current look and feel more like vacation style hotels than senior living condos. Take a look below at just some of the options and communities in the area.
Lane” area of South Torrance. Known as Seaside Ranchos in South Torrance the rest of the year, this neighborhood really shines (quite literally) during the holidays. Cars line up and pedestrians take to the streets to enjoy this incredible display of holiday lights and Christmas decorations. It really is something to behold and it’s worth waiting in the line of cars. Even better is doing it by foot but obviously that’s weather dependent.
