We’ve been posting a lot lately with new listings priced at numbers that would have seemed laughable not long ago. The newest and only
active listing in Fusion is definitely another sign that the market is officially crazy.
5507 149th Pl # 8 in Fusion South Bay is one of the smallest floorplans offered in Fusion and is a B condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths and approximately 1,030 square feet. It’s arguably the nicest remodel we’ve ever seen in the community and it looks brand new and doesn’t look like any of the original offerings. Having said that this is dramatically higher list price than anything we’re aware of. The previous highest sale for an A or B floorplan was $740,000 back in Februrary. As A and B units generally sell at similar prices, is it possible that this newest listing could sell for almost $75,000 more than the last one? The market is certainly crazy, there are no other active listings and the remodel is beautiful so this will be a good one to keep tabs on to see if the market is really this frenzied.

5449 Strand #104 in the gated community of 360 South Bay. We had the pleasure of representing the buyer on the home immediately next door at 5449 The Strand #103 which just recorded at a record price of $875,000. This newest home is the same floorplan and was going to hit the market in May at an unheard of price of $895,000. In our opinion we anticipated it might sit for a bit as that’s a big number…..not so much. The home is now pending and never actually hit the market so we’re going to assume they got their number or more.
