There just seems to be no end in sight to the super hot South Bay real estate market January 2022 was a much slower month for the number of homes that sold in most South Bay cities which was not a surprise given that December is always slower for escrows and there has been a record low inventory of homes for sale. Prices were record setting once again. The South Bay real estate market definitely remains a very favorable to sellers. 2021 Year in Review – Golden Hills Redondo Home Sales
Welcome to the 2021 recap for the year that was in Golden Hills real estate. This small pocket of primarily single family homes sits just east of Hermosa Beach and just south of Manhattan Beach. Home prices skyrocketed in 2021.
There were 111 on market homes that closed escrow in 2021. The average “list” price was $1,359,217 with the average “sold” price was $1,426,916 meaning homes generally sold dramatically over the initial asking price indicating a market very favorable to home sellers. The average price per square foot was $806 and homes averaged only 21 days on the market before going pending.
